The walls on the backside of this house were removed entirely so that Living / Dining and Kitchen could flow and interact as one. Originally a modular home, there were some unusual quirks to work around. The Kitchen cabinetry was creatively designed to hide existing plumbing behind a false cabinet. Kitchen sink windows were shifted and widened, and the wall dividing the Kitchen Dining was removed to create a Galley Kitchen. The most impactful design change was replacing the single window at the end of the home with three windows, which flooded the opened up spaces with beautiful light. Dated oak cabinets and a choppy layout were replaced with a galley Kitchen that flaunts herringbone backsplash and classic shaker cabinetry with subtle accents.
