Simply white

Veined countertops, textured backsplash, brass lighting and wood shelving allow this kitchen to timelessly grow over the years. Texture and subtle details give this space dimension. This started as a gray toned kitchen with chrome builder grade fixtures and washer/dryer in the center of the kitchen. Modifying the floor plan to relocate laundry appliances right off of the garage with mudroom for their growing family was a practical decision that paid off in other ways. The shifting of walls opened up natural light from the front of the home to flow into the kitchen with additional cabinetry storage space, and a pantry. Incorporating open shelving and architectural lighting broke up the mass of  cabinetry while giving some character and dimension to create a unique space.
