Once a dark, cramped bath, since this was doubling as the main bathroom for the house and the kids’ bathroom, it needed to enlarge its footprint to be more functional. This additional space was achieved by carving space from a neighboring guest bedroom closet. By relocating a vent pipe infront of the window, natural light could stream in to feel bigger and brighter and allow for a wider vanity in a beautiful walnut. This wall mounted vanity maintained the mid-century modern style of the home complemented by stacked blue subway tile, floating shelves, brass pendants and plumbing.
