Touches of Blue

Despite this 300 square foot space calling for symmetry with a predictable tub centered on the Palladian window, we created a modern symmetry with the balance of color and sightlines. With the goal of spreading natural light to all the areas that demanded it, we carved away portions of the wall flanking the shower plumbing. This allowed natural light to flood in and reflect off of the vanity mirrors into the shower. We offset the deep blue double vanity with a matching dressing area in the same handsome marine blue color. Mimicking the blue of the vanity with a variegated blue picket and basketweave dotted in the same blue helped balance this luxury bathroom while large format wood herringbone adds the dramatic texture desired for such a large space.

Sleek & Refined

Both baths from the same home, these took on an edited design with a focus on function. In the Main Full Bath, a floating concrete sink replaced the dated pedestal sink providing a clean uninterrupted floor tile. In the Primary Full Bath, the existing jetted tub was removed and converted to a generous sized tiled shower and a sleep vanity with some closed drawer storage and open shelving below keeps a contemporary airy feel. An organic earthy vibe was achieved with a granite looking stone tile that flows into the niches for a seamless look.

Bath to Grow In

This neutral palette allows some pre-teen boys to grow with in this style. A hex floor mimicked with mini hex on large format vanity tile, it adds subtle character. Light wood vanity, black plumbing fixtures, and contemporary pendants accent these subtle timeless features.

Bathing in Luxury

This Primary Bathroom evolved several times from large shower/small tub to small shower/large tub. Opting for the large shower, allowed for a spacious, sun filled steam shower giving the soaker tub privacy and direct sunlight. A linear theme is carried through with floating wood vanity, oversized pulls, and vessel sinks. Elongated mirrors, brass sconces and textured vanity tile top it off.

Ocean Inspired Master

This Master Bath is one of the many that starts with the removal of the dated, oversized jetted tub. The goals here were to remove the tub, enlarge the stand up shower, and reduce windows, to gain vanity counterspace and storage. All was achieved while incorporating the slate flooring they desired, and some special bells and whistles including a heated towel bar and radiant flooring. Ample storage in the shower for soaps, a shaving niche, as well as open shelving above the toilet, and linen cabinet between the sinks, checks off everything these clients asked for.

Powder Room with a Pop

An all white Bathroom is even more beautiful when accented with a bold wallcovering like this. This Powder Room was instantly upgraded in its appearance while also serving as a wall treatment that would hold up to the constant use of a first floor family Bathroom.

Spa-Like Master Bath

This Master Bath was your typical 90’s bathroom covered in floral wallpaper with a classic 90’s oversized and under-utilized jetted tub. The large bathroom was gutted to the studs and reconfigured to remove the dated tub and make space for a sun-filled tiled shower. Eliminating the tub offered convenient plumbing access for a second floor laundry; something the homeowner desired. A new vanity with inlay cabinetry was designed to maximize storage below and topped off with polished nickel oversized pulls. The new shower was tiled in a Carrera herringbone mosaic with complementary large scale wall and floor tile to add dimension. The oversized niche provides plenty of storage while the curbless shower door and linear drain create a beautiful luxurious and modern look.

Modern Bath Color Pop

Once a dark, cramped bath, since this was doubling as the main bathroom for the house and the kids’ bathroom, it needed to enlarge its footprint to be more functional. This additional space was achieved by carving space from a neighboring Guest Bedroom closet. By relocating a vent pipe infront of the window, natural light could stream in to feel bigger and brighter and allow for a wider vanity in a beautiful walnut. This wall mounted vanity maintained the mid-century modern style of the home complemented by stacked blue subway tile, floating shelves, brass pendants and plumbing.
